Before/After

Since this blog wasn't created until after the renovation of my house, I thought I would start a series of before and after posts to share with you about my home nightmare remodelization.  I'm just kidding...it wasn't a nightmare!  It was a very big undertaking, but I enjoyed it, really, I did.


I have no idea where I'm going with this, but let's start with day one.  I closed on my very own home.  Now what?  We loaded up and were ready to get to work.  Where do you start? As my dad, mom, granddad, and me sat in the master bedroom (we sat in that room because it was one of the two rooms with a window air conditioner in it) contemplating our first move.  We weren't sure where to begin, but we wanted to have something to show for day one.

So, we painted the master bedroom.

Obviously all of this was not done in one day.  We installed new windows, refinished the floors, painted walls and trim, added a new fan, and Central Heat and Air.
